NumberBarn uses a "call back" service to connect your outbound call. You will need an active phone number (such as your mobile phone) to place outgoing calls.
- Log in to your account
- Select Dialer
- Enter the phone number of the phone that will be used to place the call in the settings
- Select your outgoing caller ID from your NumberBarn account in the dropdown
- Use the keypad to dial the number you want to call
- Select Call
NumberBarn will call your phone (entered in the settings), answer and we connect your call to the number you dialed. The person you've called sees your NumberBarn phone number as your caller ID.
Are you looking to place outbound calls using the NumberBarn mobile application? The following article will walk you through how to do this:
Placing Outbound Call Using the NumberBarn Mobile Application
Can I call TO an international number?
Yes! You can call International numbers. Additional per-minute rates will apply. Learn more about our international rates here:
What are your rates to forward calls to my international number?
Can I call FROM an international number?
Also yes! You can enter an international number as your callback number and you will be charged according to the above international rates. Keep in mind that if you call FROM an international number TO another international number, you will be charged international rates for both legs of that call.
Do I need to dial 011 when placing an international call?
No, you do not. In the NumberBarn dial, simply enter "+" or "0", followed by the international number and the call should connect. As an added bonus, our system will alert you to the cost per minute for that phone call.
Note: When placing outbound international calls using the NumberBarn or NumberGarage Mobile Applications, simply dial the number you wish to call, no need for "+" to be dialed first when using the Mobile Applications.
