Account Number & PIN
There's high chance that your number has an account number and PIN attached to it. You'll want to make sure that you're submitting this on your port request to your new provider. We have the account number and PIN available to you 24/7 in your online account.Make sure you give this information to your desired service provider when they submit the port out request.
When you port away, the address needs to match what is on file with NumberBarn. Some of our numbers require the address of a reseller, therefore you'll want to obtain the porting away information from your NumberBarn account.
Due Date Mismatch
Numbers with NumberBarn are classified by the FCC as wireline numbers. Due to this classification, porting may take anywhere from 3 to 7 business days (more or less) depending on the provider.
If your desired service provider tries to port and receives a "due date mismatch" error, ask them to select a date at least 3-5 business days away from the current date selected. This will guarantee the number port will go through.
