Plans are held per number. There are no fees to change your plan, however, you may find pro-rated fees or credits when upgrading or downgrading. You can update your plan at any time.
To change a plan for a number:
- Login to your account
- Select Numbers
- Select on the number
- Select Options
- Select Change Plan
- Select your plan
- Save your changes
Note that your billing will be prorated when you change plans. You will see a credit for the remaining days paid on your previous plan and a new change for the same time period on the new plan. Click here to learn more about viewing this billing activity.

Can I change my plan before my number ports in or my new number order is complete?
Yes, in most cases you should see the option to change your plan even before port in or your new number order completes. You can follow the process above to do so but keep in mind that call forwarding will not work until the order is complete. You also will not be billed until that time.
Will changing my NumberBarn plan interrupt the port out process to another carrier?
Note that if you're porting your number to another carrier, updating your NumberBarn plan will NOT impact porting in any way. For example, if you are waiting for your number to port, you can use the Forward plan to forward calls to another telephone number to ensure that you don't miss any calls once porting completes. Just be sure to keep that number active at NumberBarn until porting completes.
