Here's how to swap out your cell phone number with your NumberBarn or NumberGarage number or vice versa:

Check with your wireless carrier: the timing on their end is more crucial as your NumberBarn or NumberGarage account allows you to have multiple numbers and they can be porting in or out without any interference to your service.

Ask about your current plan: Ask your current wireless carrier how porting out your current cell phone number will affect your plan and will it stay open so you can port in another number.

If you have to go with porting in our cell phone number first, we suggest placing that number on a call forwarding plan while you wait for your other number activate on your cell phone.
