Activating and deactivating text messaging

To activate text messaging for your NumberGarage number, here's the process:

• Log in to your NumberGarage account
• Click on Messages
• Click on the Activate SMS button

Note that activating SMS may take some time to complete. You may see "SMS Activation Pending" and that message will go away once activation is complete.

Also, if you have multiple telephone numbers, you may need to select the telephone number from the dropdown menu that you wish to activate.

Deactivating text messaging

In some cases, you may need to deactivate text messaging for a number. To do so, follow the process above. Then, in the Conversations pane of messaging, scroll to the bottom of the conversation list and click the Deactivate SMS button.
