NumberGarage makes it easy to listen to your voicemail messages whether it be in your NumberGarage account, on the mobile app, or delivered to your email. You can review this functionality here:
In addition to listening, we also transcribe your voicemails into text for those that would rather read. Let's review how to access these transcriptions:
Reviewing voicemail transcriptions in the control panel
To read your transcribed voicemails in your account:
- Log in to your account
- Click on Call Logs
- Locate an entry that has the voicemail icon
- When you click that icon you will have the ability to read or listen to the voicemail.
Reviewing voicemail transcriptions in the mobile application
To read your transcribed voicemails in the mobile application:
- Sign in to the NumberGarage mobile application. If you don't yet have the mobile app, you can download it here for iOS and Android.
- Click on Voicemail
- Click on the specific message you want to review and you can read or listen to it.
Can transcriptions be sent to my email?
Currently, only the audio recording is sent via email. Transcriptions must be reviewed in the account control panel or on the mobile application. We may consider adding this functionality in a future release.
Are there limits to your transcription service?
Any message longer than 1 minute will not be transcribed.
Is transcription 100% accurate?
These transcriptions are completely automated which means the service is incredibly fast. That being said, there are a number of factors that impact the accuracy of our transcriptions. For example, if a caller has a thick accent, or they don't speak clearly, or they use uncommon words or names, transcription quality may suffer. In these cases, you will want to listen to the recording for a full context.
