Did your call forwarding stop working properly? If so, you've come to the right place. But before we begin troubleshooting your call forwarding, the following article will help you with the initial setup:
How to forward calls to another number
There are a few ways to troubleshoot issues with call forwarding on your number. Please follow the steps below:
- Check to make sure you've typed your forwarding number correctly. We find this is one of the most common reasons why calls aren't forwarded properly. Again, this article will walk you through checking your call forwarding settings: Forward calls to another number
- Verify your forwarding number is working. To test this, you can place a call to your forwarding number to verify the call is connecting. If your call is unable to connect to the forwarding number, this means our system will also not be able to connect the call.
- Verify that calls are not going directly to voicemail. This might occur if you are forwarding to a phone that is turned off, out of range, or configured for do not disturb. Also, check to make sure you have call forwarding configured in your NumberBarn account as opposed to sending calls to voicemail.
If you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact our support team. When you contact us, be sure to include the telephone number in question and describe in detail any issues or errors you're encountering.
