Porting a number from Twilio
It's been 10+ days since the port request from Twilio. I have provided the requested information twice. That said, I'm looking for the status and ETA for the number transfer. Not getting any response from help desk.

Hi RichBlanchard, thank you for posting here. I located your ticket in our queue and just responded to you. For those who might read this, this issue had nothing to do with Twilio and everything to do with our security procedures. We are working to improve this process to avoid delays for good customers. I'm so sorry about the delay.

For the community, Twilio port requests are interesting because we have to submit the port with their San Francisco address, the PIN they provide, and the last 8 characters in the SID. This is totally doable but currently is best if a member of our team submits the port request on your behalf.
I'm going to propose that we allow customers to submit a different porting address when initiating a port on our site.
The good news is that porting seems to be within 24-48 hours once we get the information right.
