Why is it taken so long to complete your service

  Hi David Hudson50, thanks for posting in the community. I see that a member of our team was able to follow up with your ticket. 

  At a high level, I see that porting took about 48 hours from the time we received the porting request from your new carrier to when porting was completed. One challenge with porting NumberBarn numbers is that our numbers are classified as wireline or landline. When porting to a wireless carrier, that conversion process is typically 3-10 business days -- sometimes faster. Compare this to wireless to wireless porting which can often be completed in a matter of minutes. 

  I hope this provides some clarity on the porting timeline.
