I believe that a lot of people would find outbound faxing to be a very helpful feature.

  Yes, I agree. Being able to send faxes with this service would eliminate the need for a dedicated fax line and machine. Also, sending documents directly from your computer instead of printing and feeding it through a machine looks way better at the receiving end and saves paper.

  I don't send or receive many faxes throughout the year, so maintaining a dedicated line and machine is not cost effective as ink drys and clogs up when not used enough. Having an affordable virtual fax service costs less and is always ready when needed.
