Port out to Xfinity Mobile
Porting two number to Xfinity Mobile. One was ported smoothly, but the other one failed. I contacted Xfinity Mobile Tier 2 agent, and they insisted that they received the error of Auth Name incorrect, although we double and triple confirmed that the name was exactly the same as my name listed in the NumberBarn Port Out info (Auth Name). Also, they kept asking for the carrier name, and I told them it's NumberBarn which is not on their list, so they used Other/Not Sure option.

Hi XZ , it looks like a member of our team was able to work with you to get this sorted out and your numbers are set to port out very soon. In general, one of the most common issues with porting to Xfinity Mobile is that they don't include the Authorization name or date on their porting requests. Much of this is because they resell Verizon Wireless and their porting form doesn't perfectly translate to Verizon's porting form.

The key is to get to someone at Xfinity who can edit the port request directly at Verizon. We've had great success by emailing xfinitymobile_portinescalations@comcast.com to sort this out. They respond super fast and the port is usually approved after that.
