Many places refuse to send messages to these numbers. This is an exact error message from one of those as an example -

"We don't support this phone type. Please enter a valid mobile or landline phone number"

  Hi Navdeep Kumar, can you give me an idea of website where you are running into this error? We know that WhatsApp no longer accepts landline/VoIP numbers and imposes a 2-3 month delay after porting a number to a wireless carrier. We've documented this issue here:
