outgoing texts?

What progress is being made towards restoring the functionality of outgoing text messages for individuals like myself?  When can we expect to be able to do that again?  thanks.

  Hey JudithMeyers, I wish I had a concrete update to share with you and I know that the inability to send outbound text messages is a major inconvenience for many customers. We are working toward a P2P classification but I don't have an ETA on this yet.   Hey Adam Valerius, thank you for sharing your experience. I can definitely understand that our texting service is a vital part of how you communicate. I still don't have an ETA but I can say we're moving in a positive direction. Feel free to check in any time you want an update on this.
