Error "Carrier Rejection: End User Name Mismatch"
While trying to port a number into Number Barn, I am receiving the error "Carrier Rejection: End User Name Mismatch". Number Barn advised me to contact the carrier to determine the correct end user name. I contacted the carrier (Verizon), explained what we were doing and the information needed, and they verified the end user name is exactly as what I input into Number Barn. We spelled it out completely, letter by letter, just to be safe. I tried verifying this number both ways, by Number Barn calling me and inputting the PIN provided, and the other way where I uploaded a copy of a recent bill. On the bill the account holder is clearly displayed, just as input. Both ways, I receive the same error. One Number Barn help topic says that when the account is in the name of a person (it is) the end user name can often be left blank, however it is a required field in Number Barn and can't be left blank. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

Hey MarjorieTaylor, I emailed you back with more information but it looks like we had your name for both the person's name and company. I removed the company name and resubmitted. That may fix it. If that doesn't work we may need to either dispute the rejection using your copy of bill or ask Verizon for a CSR (Customer Service Record). I'll be in touch.
