Unable to create WhatsApp account after successful Port Out
A day ago, I successfully ported my number from NumberBarn to Ultra Mobile. I received an email from NumberBarn confirming that the transfer of my number (+1 605‑XXX‑XXXX) to another carrier was completed.
However, when I try to set up a WhatsApp account, I get an error saying that +1 605‑XXX‑XXXX is not a valid mobile number for the United States.
I contacted Ultra Mobile, and they confirmed that my number is registered as a mobile line with SMS enabled. I can also send and receive text messages without any issues.
Despite this, WhatsApp still reports that the number is not valid for the United States. I would appreciate help resolving this problem.

Hi Karthik Pitchaimani, the use of WhatsApp immediately after porting your number to a wireless carrier is a common issue. Please see the following article that describes this situation:

We have found that WhatsApp will eventually work on your number but they seem to have a security measure in place to make you wait approximately 3 months after porting your number to a wireless carrier.0
