My Story - Found out no such thing as “get it now” be warned

I contacted numberbarn and their rep basically said that the site says this to get peoples money and that the “normal time” is 10 days and that it’s a bait and switch. Then I’m told “Oh, and we aren’t here on weekends and that doesn’t count.” Terribly shady and support is almost non existent. 1. Website says get it now 2. Purchase 3. 30 mins later website says port ready 4. Port to Verizon 5. Day later nothing, Verizon says complete waiting for nimberbarn 6. Contact support and paraphrasing but he tells me there is no such thing as get it now and the website lies when says port ready. Says it takes ten days. 7. Tellls me also we are gone on weekends so too sad 8. No other response from support 9. Seems like a bait and switch, don’t hear anything I’ll move on to YouTube, BBB, Attorney General, and bank. Let’s hope I actually get a number. After reading posts here seems like this might be a fake site with no actual numbers. Buyer beware

  Hi Seraphim Mamone, thank you for your community post. I found your tickets and have responded to you and am available to support you throughout the entire porting process.
  
  I do want to make it very clear that "Get it Now" refers to the time it takes the number to be active in your NumberBarn account after placing an order. In this case, you purchased a Get it Now number on August 13 and we had the number active in your account within minutes. That means you could use any of our NumberBarn plans once the order completes make and receive calls and to send and receive text messages.

  Get it Now does not refer to the time to port to another carrier. We are not shy about the fact that NumberBarn numbers are Wireline/Landline numbers which means that porting can take 3-10 business days. Employees at wireless carriers often don't pay attention to the fact that they are porting a wireline number and will tell you that porting should be nearly instant.

  Wireless to wireless porting is very fast, but wireline to wireless porting is not as fast. But we are constantly working to improve this and ensure there aren't unnecessary delays in the process.
