If you've used the Park plan in the past, you may be familiar with our standard outbound message that tells callers your number is parked at NumberBarn and wonder if there is a similar way we notify callers about numbers on one of our call-forwarding plans.
The answer is no: All of your calls are forwarded transparently, which means there is no way for incoming callers to know that their calls are being forwarded to your outside number. They also can't see your forwarding or callback number, even if you call them from your NumberBarn number.
The only exception might be if your cell phone voicemail answered the call before your NumberBarn voicemail did. (Many standard voicemail messages say, "Please leave your message for (555) 555-5555 after the tone," which could give your forwarding number away.) That's why we recommend configuring your NumberBarn voicemail to pick up after 15 seconds or less.
