π‘ What is it?
Updating many number listings at once, instead of editing each number individually. Useful for brokers managing a large inventory, some hold thousands of numbers.
βοΈ How it works
Make Changes
| Bulk Tools | CSV upload | |
| Built into the Listings table, lets you select a set of numbers and apply a field change to all of them at once, for example turning Listed on for every selected number, or setting the same Pig Pick percentage across a batch. | Works from a downloaded, pre-formatted file. Export the current listings, edit the file directly, then upload it to apply changes in bulk. This method bypasses editing each number individually in the table. | |
| Both methods submit as a job that processes in the background rather than updating instantly. Every bulk job, whether started from Bulk Tools or a CSV upload, shows up in the same place to check on afterward. | ||
Checking a Bulk Update's Status
Every submitted job appears, on the Bulk Listings Report with a status of Done or Done with Errors, along with a progress percentage, a total listings count, and a breakdown of how many numbers were listed, delisted, modified, left unmodified, deleted, or hit an error.
If a job comes back Done with Errors, an error report can be downloaded to see exactly which listings failed and why, so the issue can be fixed and just those numbers resubmitted, rather than redoing the whole batch.
π Things to Know
- A CSV file only fails entirely if something's wrong with its structure, a missing or duplicate phone number column, no recognizable column telling the system what to change, or duplicate column headers. An unrecognized extra column doesn't stop the file, it's just noted as skipped. A row with a bad value in an otherwise valid file doesn't stop the rest of the file either, that row shows up as an individual error in the results, while everything else still processes.
- Bulk changes are processed in the order submitted, so a large job can take some time to fully complete even after the request is made.
