What you will need:
- An active phone number on the Business Line plan

- Admin user access to turn Call Recording on or off
- Admin or Basic user access to play or download recordings. Basic users see recordings only for phone numbers assigned to them.

What are Call Recordings used for?
Record every inbound and outbound call on a phone number, then play or download those recordings from Call Logs. Use recordings for training, quality review, or keeping a record of important conversations. ▶️ See Call Recording Overview 📖 for more details.
📋 Steps
Turn On Call Recording

| 2 | Click on the Numbers tab | ||
| 3 | Click on the phone number you want to edit | ||
| 4 | On the Calls tab, locate the Call Recording section | ||
| 5 | Click the Record calls on this number toggle to switch it on | ||
| 6 | Read the Before you turn on Call Recording notice | ||
| 7 | Check the box to confirm you are responsible for complying with call recording laws that apply to your calls | ||
| 8 | Click the Turn On Recording button |
➡️ The setting saves automatically. A confirmation message appears, and the Call Recording section shows Recording is on for this number. |
Turn Off Call Recording
- Login to your account
- Select Numbers
- Click on the phone number you want to edit
- Click the Calls tab
- Locate the Call Recording section
- Click the Record calls on this number toggle to switch it off
➡️ The setting saves automatically. Recordings already made stay available in Call Logs until they expire.
Play a Call Recording

| 4 | Click the Play Recording icon in the Actions column |

➡️ The pop up shows the From number, To number, Date, and Duration of the call. |
Download a Call Recording
| 1 | Login to your account | ||
| 2 | Click on the Call Logs tab | ||
| 3 | Locate the call on the table | ||
| 4 | Click the Play Recording icon in the Actions column |

| 5 | Click the Three dots icon in the Call Recording pop-up and click the Download button to save the recording. |
➡️ The recording saves to your device as an .mp3 file. |
✅ What's Next
- Every call on the number plays the announcement, "This call is being recorded," to both parties once the call is answered, then records the call.
- Changes take effect on the next call. Calls already in progress are not affected.
- Recordings are available in Call Logs for 30 days after the call. After 30 days, the Play Recording icon is greyed out and the recording can no longer be played or downloaded. Download any recording you need to keep before then.
- Calls that are missed, blocked, or sent to voicemail are not recorded.
- Changing the number to a plan other than Business Line turns Call Recording off automatically. Recordings made before the change stay available until they expire.
