You're interested in group texting so you can connect multiple contacts in one conversation. Currently, NumberBarn and NumberGarage partially supports this functionality. We'll review in more detail below.
Sending and receiving messages in a group text thread
We do plan to support the creation of a group text thread through our mobile application in the future but currently do not. That being said, if your NumberBarn or NumberGarage number is added to a group text thread, you will see all participants in the thread and have the ability to respond as you would any text message. How to see participant details in a group text thread
If you want to see the details of the members of your group text thread, here are instructions to do so:
- Open the group text thread from within the mobile application
- Click the three dots
in the upper right corner
- Tap Participants
and you will see a list of the numbers in the text thread along with their names if they are saved in your contacts.
We support 10 total group members in a text messaging group including you as the sender.
Note: the best viewing of group texting is through our mobile applications. While you can view and respond to a group text in a browser, it's difficult to see who each message is from. We will improve this functionality in the future.
