Auto text forwarding
Want to find out if there is a way to have a phone number on number barn or number garage where I can have a phone number that will automatically forward all texts to a different phone number?
Here's a situation I have a cell phone that all my clients have. I want to get rid of that cell phone bill since all I use that phone for is texting only. I would like to purchase a toll free number through number garage and Port my current cell phone number to a service that will automatically take any texts that come in and forward them to the toll free number at number garage that way I can reply to those texts and update those clients with the new phone number.
Is something like this possible? Trying to avoid having a completely separate cell phone bill since it's only used for texting alone. Also using a toll free number through number garage as a workaround of the new blocking of texting app numbers. Right now if a client text me on my cell phone and they're using an app number I don't get the message. So my thinking was Port that number to where I can just automatically have those texts forwarded to my toll free number with number garage which means I should be getting all texts at that point and then I can reply back to them whether they are using a real cell phone or using a texting app and they should receive all my messages.
I hope that makes sense any direction on this would be great

Hey Rob Brody, the ability to forward text messages from one number to another is a frequent request. We definitely do not have this functionality -- and I actually need to talk with some folks to see what's technically feasible.
The closest we can get to something like this if the number is with NumberBarn or NumberGarage is to send the inbound text notification to the SMS email address provided by the wireless carrier. It's outlined in this article: https://help.numberbarn.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022494673-Enabling-SMS-email-and-mobile-notifications. But in this case you can't reply to the messages.
