How to activate hosted messaging with String

In this article:

Currently String is offering a free 30-day trial of the Professional plan to NumberBarn and NumberGarage customers. String features numerous benefits including 10DLC Campaign and Brand registration along with text message auto responses and mass messaging. 

To activate your free trial:

• How do I log in to my account?
• Click on Numbers at the top of your screen
• Select the number you want to upgrade and click the Messages tab
• Click the Activate String SMS button
  
• Note that if you have SMS active, you'll need to click Deactivate SMS first and then you'll be able to activate String.

Once you initiate this, NumberBarn will configure hosted messaging with String in a matter of minutes and you can take advantage of the functionality String has to offer. The voice portion of your telephone number will remain with NumberBarn and NumberGarage.

How to deactivated String hosted messaging

You can end your String free trial at any time by following the steps above and clicking the Disconnect from String button. You will need to click Activate SMS again to text through NumberBarn or NumberGarage.

Register your brand and campaign
