Why request a CNAM update?

• If you would like a name to display when you make outbound calls from your NumberBarn number, instead of just the 10-digit phone number

📋 Steps

1	Email support@numberbrn.com		Submit a Request
2	Include the following information:		Email address on your NumberBarn account 10-digit phone number to update CNAM request
	A CNAM can be a mixture of letters, numbers, and spaces totaling a maximum of 15 characters		Example: Account Email: pigportly@gmail.com Phone Number: (408) 809-0562 CNAM: Pig Inc.

✅ What's Next

• The request can take up to 30 days to update or "take effect" once submitted to the carrier due to things like caching and propagation
• Especially in the case of mobile numbers, we cannot guarantee that carriers will show your caller ID name (CNAM) to their subscribers. But we can always check to make sure it has been submitted to our carriers correctly.
