💡 What is it
The dialer allows you to make outbound calls from any active NumberBarn phone number on a Forward, Unlimited, or Business Line plan.
Outbound calls can be made from your NumberBarn phone number using the Dialer. No matter what device you use to place the call, the incoming caller ID will display your NumberBarn phone number on the device of the receiving party.
Choose which phone number in your NumberBarn account the outbound call is placed from.
⚙️ How it works
All outbound calls use the NumberBarn Dialer, from a browser or the mobile app. There are two methods.
Call Back Method
- Place calls from a NumberBarn number on any other active device, such as a cell phone, landline, or public phone. Enter a callback number in the Dialer settings. NumberBarn calls that phone, you answer, and the call connects to the number you dialed.
Computer/VoIP Method
Place calls from a NumberBarn number on a computer while logged in to the NumberBarn account. As long as there is an internet connection, the call works from anywhere in the world.
📌 Things to Know
Caller ID
The person you call sees your NumberBarn number as the caller ID, not the device you used to place the call.
International Outbound Calling
Place calls to international numbers from the Dialer. Each destination has a per minute rate, and the Dialer shows it under the number. If the Dialer shows "Add international credit to call" and a country, add international credit to the account.
- Use an international callback number to be billed at international rates. A call from an international callback number to another international number bills both legs at international rates.
- On a web browser, type "+" or press 0 first, then enter the country code and number.
- On the mobile app, dial the number without a "+".
- Destinations that are not supported cannot be called.

Call Recording
Outbound calls from a number with Call Recording on are recorded. The person you call hears the announcement, "This call is being recorded," once they answer.
