What is a Custom Port Away PIN used for?

A default PIN is set automatically, but it can be changed to a custom PIN that applies only to the number being modified.

📋 Steps

Set a Custom PIN

1. Log in to your account.
2. Select Numbers from the navigation bar.
3. Select the phone number.
4. Click the Port Out tab.
5. Click Customize PIN.
6. Enter a valid PIN, 6 digits, numbers only. The PIN cannot be "123456" or "000000." The Save Changes button stays grayed out until a valid PIN is entered.
7. Click Save Changes.

✅ What's Next

• Your custom PIN updates instantly and overrides the account default PIN for this number only. If no custom PIN is set, the account default PIN applies.
• Provide this PIN to your new service provider when you submit the port request. It must match exactly what is listed in your account, or the request will be denied.
