New number activation time frame

How long does it take for a number to become active in your account after you purchase it?

After you search for your desired phone number, you’ll be taken to the results page. On the left-hand side, you’ll see the phone numbers available for you to choose from. And, on the right, you’ll see the price.

Directly below the price, an activation time frame. 

This activation time frame is important to take into consideration when selecting your new number. 

The Get It Now Option will take approximately 2-3 hours to activate your new number.

All other numbers will complete within a 3-10 day time frame.

Since you can only port an active phone number, if you will be porting a number away to a new provider, you will need to allow the activation time frame to complete and your number to become active in your account.

This is an automated process with no ability to expedite. We may reach out to you during the process to verify your order so be on the lookout for all emails from our team.

What if I'm licensing a number?

It's important to note that the above applies primarily to purchased numbers. For licensing, the activation time frame should also be approximately 2-3 hours as well, but keep in mind that you cannot port these numbers away.
