What you will need:
- Access to your NumberBarn account
- Two-Step Authentication already enabled on your account
What is managing Two-Step Authentication methods used for?
Once 2SA is enabled, you can add additional verification methods, rename existing ones, or delete methods you no longer have access to. Keeping your methods up to date ensures you are never locked out of your account.
If you haven't enabled 2SA yet, see ▶️ See Enable Two-Step Authentication (2SA) ⚙️ first.
📋 Steps
Add a New Method

| 2 | Select Account | ||
| 3 | Locate the Two-Step Authentication section | ||
| 4 | Click the Add a new method button | ||
| 5 | Select your preferred method (Email, SMS, or Authenticator App) and follow the steps below ⤵️ |
- Select the Email radio button
- Enter a secondary email address (must be different from your login email)
- Click Submit
- Check your inbox for your verification code
- Enter the verification code in the Verification code field
- Click Submit: ➡️ Your email method is now added.
SMS
- Select the SMS radio button
- Enter a US or Canadian phone number that can receive text messages and is not listed on your NumberBarn account
- Click Submit
- Check your text messages for your verification code
- Enter the verification code in the Verification code field
- Click Submit: ➡️ Your SMS method is now added.
Authenticator App
- Select the Authenticator app radio button
- Open your authenticator app on your mobile device
- Tap + and select Scan a QR code
- Scan the QR code displayed on your screen
- Enter the token from the app in the Token field
- Click Submit: ➡️ Your authenticator app method is now added.
Rename a Method

| 4 | Click the Rename button next to the method you want to rename | ||
| 5 | Enter a new name and Click the Save button |
➡️ Your method name is updated immediately. |
Delete a Method
| 1 | Login to your account | ||
| 2 | Select Account | ||
| 3 | Locate the Two-Step Authentication section | ||
| 4 | Click the 🗑️ trash icon next to the method you want to remove |
➡️ The method is removed from your account. |
✅ What's Next
- We recommend keeping 2–3 methods so you always have a backup if you lose access to one.
- Lost access to all your methods? Contact our support team. Once verified, we'll disable 2SA so you can sign back in and add new methods.
