Access to your NumberBarn account
At least one of the following: a secondary email address, a US or Canadian SMS enabled phone number, or an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, or NordPass
What is managing Two-Step Authentication methods used for? Two-Step Authentication, or 2SA, adds a second verification step to signing in. Turn it on, add a method, and use these same steps later to add, edit, or delete methods, or to turn 2SA off.

๐ Steps Turn On Two-Step Authentication

Login to your account

Select Account , then Profile

On the Account Settings page, expand Login & Security

Toggle the switch next to the 2FA badge to On
Add a Method

Click Add a new method and select Email , SMS , or Authenticator App
Email

Select the Email from the dropdown list

Enter a secondary email address, must be different from your login email

Click the Send Code button

Check your inbox for your verification code

Enter the verification code in the Verification code field. Click Verify .

Your email method is now added.
SMS
1
Select the Text messages (SMS) from the dropdown list

Enter a US or Canadian phone number that can receive text messages and is not already listed on your account. Click the Send Code button.

Check your text messages for your verification code

Enter the verification code in the Verification code field. Click Verify .

Your SMS method is now added.
Authenticator App
1
Select the Authenticator app from the dropdown list

Open your authenticator app on your mobile device

Tap + and select Scan a QR code

Scan the QR code displayed on your screen

Enter the code from the app. Click the Send Code button.

Your SMS method is now added.
Edit a Method
Locate the Two-Step Authentication section in Login & Security
Click the pencil icon next to the method you want to edit
Enter the updated name or details and click Save
Delete a Method
Locate the Two-Step Authentication section in Login & Security
Click the trash icon next to the method you want to remove. The method is removed from your account immediately.

What's Next
We recommend keeping two or three methods so you always have a backup if you lose access to one.
Turning Two-Step Authentication off does not delete your methods. They stay saved and are ready to use again as soon as you turn it back on.
Lost access to all your methods? Contact our support team . Once verified, we'll disable 2SA so you can sign back in and add new methods.
