It’s important to remember that Freedom Mobile must submit the port request with the exact porting credentials that are listed in your NumberBarn account. Once approved, it’s the responsibility of Freedom Mobile and their underlying carrier to complete the porting request.

4 Tips for porting to Freedom Mobile
We’ve learned a few important things about porting numbers to Freedom Mobile. Here are five tips to ensure that this process is as smooth as possible.
1. Make sure Freedom Mobile can support your number
Contact Freedom Mobile to first confirm they can port your NumberBarn number to their service. If you’re planning to port a number to them, it’s not a bad idea to check that they can support your number before even purchasing one from NumberBarn.
2. Make sure Freedom Mobile knows this is a wireline port so they can choose port settings appropriately
All numbers purchased from NumberBarn are classified as wireline or landline as opposed to wireless. To learn more about this important distinction, check out this article:
Is my number wireless or wireline?
3. Make sure Freedom Mobile is filling in all available fields on their port form
Be sure that Freedom Mobile is enter NumberBarn in the Reseller field on the porting form. If left blank, the port will almost surely be rejected.
4. Make sure Freedom Mobile gives at least 1 business day as the "due date"
Because this is a wireline to wireless port, the request cannot be completed on the same day as you might expect from a wireless-to-wireless port request. As such, be sure that Freedom Mobile requests for porting to complete on the next business day.
