When setting up call forwarding to an International Number, you'll want to be sure that the number is formatted correctly. When a US or Canada number is entered as the forwarding number, it will automatically be formatted as (555) 555-5555 and limit you to 10 characters. Note the use of parenthesis.
With International numbers, there is no need for parentheses. For example, if you are forwarding to a number in the UK with country code 44, it will need to be entered starting with a "+" symbol followed by the digits with no spaces. This will also allow you to exceed 10 characters. Here's an example:
+445555555555
While our system will allow you to enter an international number, international call forwarding must be enabled in your account!
