My number isn't supported by my preferred carrier. What should I do?

You have a snazzy new number and want to port it to a new carrier but they tell you that your number wasn't supported. Or perhaps they say that you cannot port your number to them. What should you do?

First of all, we recommend checking with that carrier before you purchase a number to make sure they support the rate center.

It's important to note that the rate center is determined by the first 6 digits of your phone number and there is nothing NumberBarn or any other provider can do to change it.
