What you will need:
- An active phone number in your NumberBarn account on the Forward, Unlimited, or Business Line plan
What is Call Forwarding used for?
- Transparently forwarding calls from one number to another active phone number.
- Allowing the owner of the number to manage the phone number's calls and texts from one device
📋 Steps
| 1 | Login to your account | ||
| 2 | Select Numbers | ||
| 3 | Click on the phone number you want to edit | ||
| 4 | Click the dropdown next to Send all calls to a Forward | ||

| 5 | Enter the 10-digit phone number you want all calls to this NumberBarn number to forward calls to | ||

| 6 | Choose Caller ID (incoming) option | ||
|

| 7 | Click Save Changes button |
✅ What's Next
- All calls to the NumberBarn number are transparently forwarded to the entered phone number
- For example, calls to (408) 809-0562 are now configured to ring to (858) 879-9186, which is the Portly Pigs cell phone
- Incoming caller ID on Portly's cell phone will show calls coming from (408) 809-0562 as the caller's phone number

Voicemail usage and routing are based on NumberBarn voicemail settings
- If no voicemail settings are set to be used through NumberBarn, the caller will be directed to the voicemail settings of the forwarded phone number
