💡 What is it
The phone number or display that shows on your device when an incoming call is placed to your NumberBarn number is known as the incoming caller ID or callerID.
⚙️ How it works
NumberBarn gives you two different caller ID setting options:
- See the caller's phone number or
- See the called phone number
📌 Things to Know
- Based on how you want to manage phone calls to your NumberBarn number, there are several options, including using a Call Whisper, available on our Business Line service plan, to identify the incoming call as personal or a business call
- Since the calls may be forwarded to your cell phone or another device that you receive calls on from multiple phone numbers, being able to distinguish which forwarded phone number the calls are coming from can be crucial
🛠️ CallerID Problems
On some occasions you'll have issues forwarding your phone calls if your callerID is set to "Show Caller's Number." In that case, try "Show Called Numbers" instead and be sure to add your NumberBarn telephone number as a contact on your mobile phone.
In other cases, you may need to disable the spam filters on your wireless phone to get your forwarded calls to arrive. If problems persist, please contact customer support.
