🔍 Before You Begin

What you will need:

1. An active phone number in your NumberBarn account on the Forward, Unlimited, or Business Line plan

What is Voicemail used for?

• Capturing voice messages from unanswered or missed calls
• Recording is capped at 2 minutes
• Three options are available for Voicemail settings with your NumberBarn number:
  • Never- VM off: Voicemail is off, and calls will route to the voicemail of the number to which you are forwarding.
  • Immediately: This will send callers immediately to the NumberBarn voicemail.
  • Seconds: Select a set number of seconds to ring to your forwarding number. After that time period, if there is no answer, we will forward that call to the NumberBarn voicemail.

📋 Steps

Configure Voicemail Setting 

1	Login to your account
2	Select Numbers
3	Click on the phone number you want to edit
4	Click on Messages tab under the phone number
5	Choose Ring my phone, then send calls to VM after dropdown optoins
	A. Send calls to Voicemail: Never
	Calls will route through your forwarding numbers existing settings
	B. Send calls to Voicemail: Immediately
	Calls will not ring, but go directly to your NumberBarn voicemail
	C. Send calls to Voicemail: Seconds
	Be sure to test the number of seconds to ring based on your existing voicemail service. For example: If you are forwarding to your cell phone, 30 seconds may be too long and your cell phone's voicemail will capture the call before we can send it to your NumberBarn voicemail.
6	Click Save Changes button

Add Voicemail Message

1	Click Messages tab under the phone number
2	Click Change button next to My voicemail Message
3	Use Change My Outgoing Message pop-up to add a greeting See Change My Outgoing Message 🛠️ for steps to record, upload or use included message files
