You can port an active number away from NumberBarn regardless of the plan you're on: Port Away, Park, Forward, Unlimited, or Business.
If you purchase a number on the Port Away plan and do not port it away within 30 days, it will automatically switch to the Park plan. There is no way to switch your number back to the Port Away plan, but the plan for a number does not in any way dictate the ability to port away. You can always port your number to another provider at any time, on any plan!
If you select the Port Away plan for $0 and don't port your number out within 30 days, your plan will convert to the Park plan at $2.99 per month, until you're ready to port your number out.
You do not need to make any changes to your active number if you want to port it away.
