Why Schedule a Port In Request?
Scheduling a port request allows you to request a specific FOC (Firm Order Commitment) date for your number transfer. An FOC date is the day your number is expected to transfer from your current carrier to NumberBarn.
Scheduling a port can be helpful if:
- You need your current phone service to remain active until a certain date
- You are traveling or leaving the country
- You want more control over when your transfer completes
Please note that requested dates are subject to approval by your current carrier.
