🔍 Before You Begin

What you will need:

1. An active phone number in your NumberBarn account on the Forward or Unlimited plan
   • See Change Service Plan 🛠️
2. Configure calls to send to a "Menu"

What are Basic Menus used for?

• Configure keys 0-9 to send callers to a phone number or voicemail
• Allow callers to press a key on their keypad to reach the information they need.
  • Each key press can have a different configuration from the list of options
  • The forwarding numbers can be different or the same phone number for each key press option

📋 Steps

Add Menu

1	Login to your account
2	Select Numbers
3	Click on the number you wish to edit
4	Click the dropdown next to Send all calls to a Menu
5	Click Add Menu button
6	Use the Configure Menu pop-up to complete the next steps

Add Greeting

1	Click Add button to add a Menu greeting message
2	Use Change My Outgoing Message pop-up to add a greeting See Change My Outgoing Message 🛠️ for steps to record, upload or use included message files

Configure Key Press

1	Add a key press option  in the drop down under On key press, send call to
2	Options for each key press
	Disabled This will disable this selection from the menu. Callers will not be able to select this option
	Forward Forward this menu option to one outside phone number See Configure Call Forwarding 🛠️ for details
	Voicemail Send the call to the voicemail of the NumberBarn account Each telephone number has 1 voicemail box You cannot route to multiple different mailboxes Seen Configure Voicemail 🛠️ for details
	Repeat Message This will repeat the main menu greeting
3	Click Show all keys to configure key press 4-9
4	Set options for Invalid Key Press Invalid key press will redirect callers who select an option on the menu that is not enabled
5	Set options for No Key Press No key press will redirect callers to an option when they do not make any selection on the menu
6	Click Save Menu button

✅ What's Next

• Callers will be routed to hear the outbound message greeting
• They can choose a key press option,
  • Once the option is selected (pressed), the call is routed using the configured settings
  • If forwarding to another phone number, the call will route based on that phone number's specific settings
