What are outbound calls used for?

Making outbound phone calls from your NumberBarn phone number is one way to make the most of your service plan. Calls will all start using the Dialer in your NumberBarn account. Once the Dialer is open, there are two ways to make an outbound call: VoIP Mode and Call Back Mode.

📋 Steps

Open Dialer 

1	Open NumberBarn app on your device
2	Log in to account, if needed
3	Click on Dial pad icon in lower right-hand corner of screen
4	Choose the NumberBarn number to place a call from in the dropdown list
5	Click gear icon in upper right-hand corner to choose calling mode
	Use Call Back Mode ⤵️ Use VoIP Mode ⤵️

Use Call Back Mode

1	Select Call Back from dropdown
2	Enter call back phone number
3	Click back arrow in upper left-hand corner
4	Enter phone number you want to call using key pad or paste
5	Click green phone icon button to place call
6	Answer the call on your call back device
	Device can be any other active landline or cell phone
7	Once the call is answered, the line will ring your outbound call phone number and you can use your device to complete the call

Use VoIP Mode

1	Select VoIP from dropdown
	Allow access to the microphone
2	Click back arrow in upper left-hand corner
3	Enter phone number you want to call using key pad or paste
5	Click green phone icon button to place call
6	Outbound call will be placed over device using an internet connection
7	Complete the call on the Dialer page
	Use the Microphone icon to mute yourself  Click red End phone icon button to terminate phone call
