Have you received an "End User Name Mismatch" error when attempting to port in your number? The end user name is the official name listed for the account holder with your current telephone carrier. In some cases, this name may differ from the name or company that appears on your telephone bill.
Your End User Name is typically NOT the username or email address you use to log in to your account. It is typically a company or business name. If your telephone bill is sent to a person, then this field can often be left blank.
To resolve this error, contact your current carrier and confirm your end user name. In some cases, it's a good idea to ask the carrier to send your CSR (Customer Service Record).
Once you have this information
- Log in to your account.
- Select Numbers.
- Click on the 10-digit phone number you are porting.
- Select the orange button to update End User Name, enter the name exactly as it appears on your bill or CSR, and submit your order again.
