💡 What is it?
Billable minutes are how NumberBarn and NumberGarage measure and charge for talk time on your account. Every incoming and outgoing call, including calls you forward to another number, draws from your plan's minutes. Understanding how those minutes are counted helps you avoid unexpected overage charges.
⚙️ How it works
How Minutes Are Counted
Minutes start ticking as soon as someone calls your NumberBarn or NumberGarage number. Call durations are always rounded up to the next full minute. For example, a call lasting 1.5 minutes is billed as 2 minutes. Fractions of a minute are never billed separately.
If you forward calls out to another number, such as your cell phone, the minutes used for that call are drawn from your NumberBarn or NumberGarage plan for the entire duration of the call. Depending on your plan, this usage may be counted on both the NumberBarn or NumberGarage side and your forwarding destination's side.
600-Minute Plan
On the 600 minute plan, your account is allotted 600 incoming and outgoing minutes per billing cycle. Minutes used beyond that allotment are billed at $0.03 per minute.
Unlimited Minute Plan
On the unlimited minute plan, incoming and outgoing minutes are not capped, but usage is still subject to a fair use policy. Review the Acceptable Use Policy in our Terms of Service to understand what's covered under the unlimited plan.
