⚙️ How it works
Configuration
- Add a Custom voicemail greeting
- Determine settings of when a caller will be prompted to leave a voicemail or disable a NumberBarn voicemail altogether
Check Voicemail
- Messages are recorded and sent to you via email as a .wav file so you can listen, forward, and save them
Notifications
- Voicemail notifications are available using the NumberBarn mobile app
Transcripts
- Voicemail transcripts are only available on phone numbers with a Business Line service plan
- Transcriptions can be viewed in the account control panel or on the mobile application.
- These transcriptions are completely automated, which can impact the accuracy of our transcriptions.
- Any message longer than 1 minute will not be transcribed
📌 Things to Know
- Voicemail messages left by callers also count as minutes used and are capped at 5 minutes in length
- Options to download, save, and forward the voicemail are also available
- We store your voicemail messages on our server for 90 days. If you'd like to keep the message longer than 90 days, save the file to your computer. Saving it in your email will not save it to your computer.
